New Patient Special
“Every patient wants to feel "special" and you have treated me that way with what I know to be knowledgeable and exceptional care. You are indeed one of a very, and all too rare, few talented perfectionist and dedicated doctors, with an oceanic depth of concern for each and every patient.” - Ann

After 30+ years of dental practice and after examining and observing thousands of dental patients I can state with confidence that Dental Care is Expensive when it is not excellent and when there is not a truly effective preventive program present. The fact is that with excellent dental care and truly effective prevention people do not need much, if any, dental care. If the public could realize that when a dentist accepts or has a low fee such as is required in order to sign up with an “Insurance” company he or she is in almost every case is financially prevented from doing the very best care.
How do I know this? Because I have tried to accept insurance and I have tried at times to compete with other dentists on the basis of fees and I have realized the impossibility of the situation. The fact despite what you may have heard is that dental care is not highly profitable unless you create volume and go away from excellence and when you aim at volume you must do things faster and when you do them faster you have to cut corners in the same way fast food is different from excellent fine dining. In addition which is VERY VERY important to understand, it is easy in Dentistry to cut quality of materials, instruments, staff, laboratory work, etc without the patient knowing it which is radically different than in the restaurant business where you pretty much know when they cut quality of ingredients, etc.
In conclusion, look for a dentist who guarantees his or her work indefinitely and who from the beginning talks about how you can get completely healthy and prevent dental disease and prevent dental problems long term.
