I have the money to afford the veneers! but I’m scared they might suggest I get braces! I’m too old for braces! do you think I qualify for veneers?

ANSWER: With significantly crowded teeth, veneers would not be able to sufficiently address your esthetic or functional needs. Without repositioning the teeth, your teeth would need to be prepared aggresively to allow for enough room to have crowns placed and this still would not give you a great result. If this was done you also may need root canals on some of your teeth removing so much tooth structure may damage the pulp/nerve within the tooth.
THE BEST WAY AND THE ONLY REALLY GOOD ANSWER is to first use Invisalign which in many cases can take as little as 6 months to reposition the teeth adequately and then use veneers to idealize the final result you want. Invisalign utilizes an almost invisible clear plastic aligner that fits over the teeth and does not use metal brackets and wires like traditional braces. It is comfortable, fast, and allows you to brush and floss your teeth as well as eat normally.
